My Favorite Cookie – Butterscotch Slice and Bake Cookies. Recipe: Butterscotch Slice and Bake Cookies. Adapted from Martha Stewart Everyday Food. 1 1/2 sticks Unsalted Butter, softened to room temperature. 1/2 cup Light Brown Sugar. 1 tsp Vanilla Extract. 2 cups All Purpose Flour. This is a reciepe I received from my Grandmother. 1 cup of sugar. 1 cup of flour. 1 cup of milk (buttermilk preferable). 1 stick of butter. 2 cups of any fruit.
