Exciting news this week as one of the children has their project “Blue Bob’s Adventure” on the “featured” section of the Scratch homepage! This Scratcher has been coding for a while already and is, by chance, one of the children leading the session today on game mechanics, score levels and variables. Flags – link to project. Home educators coding club. Week 7: What do you want to do now? By popular demand we added another three sessions to the club which will take us to the school summer holidays. We have plans to run some sessions during the holidays in library open hours so that other children and their parents in the local area can come and see what Scratch is about. This week we had a new member start and they were taken through the basics of Scratch by one of the children who was pretty much new to Scratch at week 1.
