He had turned his light and his music on, gotten almost every toy out and somehow made his way on top of his dresser. Not sure how long he'd been there but he gave me a big "cheese! Saturday, June 28, 2008. It's our first official trip of the summer (minus Casey). My mom and the kids and I are loading up the 'ol mini to make an eight hour trek across Texas. Isn't it remarkable that you could cover about 10 states if you drove eight hours in the Northeast but in Texas, you can drive all day and never cross state borders! Packing has been challenging for a 4 month old, 3 yr old, 5 yr old and rehabilitating mommy. A pottery painting session. A day of kids' camp. Links to this post.

Friday, February 27, 2009. A day after I told my friend Nicki I hate throwing up, I woke up extremely nauseous. And proceeded to throw up everything in my body. Go figure. A doctor's visit, 2 shots and one very patient husband later, I am feeling better but still really weak. I hate stomach viruses! Thankfully, Adam is not sick, and my fever has broken.
