Mixing Bikes and Hammers: July 2014

http://corinabikes.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html

Mixing Bikes and Hammers. Thanks for your Donations! Thursday, July 31, 2014. Geology field camp on rewind. After leaving the Grand Canyon, we visited Zion, the Mojave Desert, Yosemite, and the western Sierras. Many of the roads and towns we rode thru, I had been to on field camp 3 years ago. I had no idea I would ever be on most of these roads again, especially by bike. Surviving the Mojave Desert. This also happen to be the day we crossed into California! Build day in St George. And a visit from my Dad!

http://corinabikes.blogspot.com/2014/07/beautiful-jaw-dropping-new-mexico.html

Mixing Bikes and Hammers. Thanks for your Donations! Thursday, July 3, 2014. Beautiful, jaw dropping New Mexico. We zig zagged our way through Texas and Oklahoma and are now on our last day in New Mexico. Days are flying and we passed our half way mileage point one of the first days in New Mexico. Here are a bunch of pictures from the last week (which has felt like 2 or 3). Also some thoughts while riding:. Oklahoma- flat, huge endless skies, great tail winds, tons of empty roads and passed through our.

Mixing Bikes and Hammers. Thanks for your Donations! Thursday, June 26, 2014. Day off in Amarillo! Here are some pictures from our hike in the second largest canyon in the US. Amarillo to Dalhart, Texas. We started out in Amarillo around 7 o'clock, and arrived in Dalhart, TX by four, the majority of the day felt like exploring more than riding our bikes. The beginning of the ride was hilly and I loved it! Bike and Build, bike sailing west! And lastly, Abs with Colleen! Wednesday, June 25, 2014. Dallas to...

Day 42 - Dalhart, TX

http://crosscountrydan.blogspot.com/2014/07/day-42-dalhart-tx.html

Bike, Build, Blog. Zen and the Art of Dropping Everything to Make a Difference. Tuesday, July 15, 2014. Day 42 - Dalhart, TX. Back to the ride! After our lovely day off, we are now headed to Dalhart, TX. The ride was 80 miles, but we had an awesome tailwind for much of that, so the day passed by fairly smoothly. There were some hills in the morning, but by afternoon it was all fairly flat. I've been told that west Texas is flat and now I get to see it for myself! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Theme...

Bike, Build, Blog. Zen and the Art of Dropping Everything to Make a Difference. Thursday, July 10, 2014. Day 40 - Amarillo, TX. Well, we did not get to Amarillo by morning. today's 107 mile ride was super long and was not helped by the rainstorm in the middle (during which most of us were "bonking", or having a physical and mental breakdown during the ride). I can't wait for our rest day in Amarillo tomorrow! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Bike and Build Group Blog. View my complete profile.

Bike, Build, Blog. Zen and the Art of Dropping Everything to Make a Difference. Thursday, July 10, 2014. Day 41 - Day off in Amarillo, TX. So much to see and so much to do on our day off! I forgot the joy of being out in the woods with good friends. :). Later on, after our return from the canyon, our group went out for Mexican food followed by a trip to Cadillac Ranch! After a good discussion about their cross country trip as well as ours, we got some awesome Chaco bracelets to keep. Road To The Trip.

That awesome host that I mentioned that served us dinner on Memorial Day? Oh yeah, they took out one step farther by making our first hot breakfast of French toast and sausage. To a rider that has been having cold breakfasts so far, that is quite awesome! Day 11 - Panama City. Bike, Build, Blog. Zen and the Art of Dropping Everything to Make a Difference. Wednesday, July 16, 2014. Day 44 - Mosquero, NM. Our ride today took us into our smallest town yet! A town of just 100 people proved to be very difficult to get to but also very interesting once there. We had an awesome ride in on some of the emptiest roads we've seen so far, feeling great with our tailwind in and stopping to climb a random windmill! Build Rank and Flip Amazon Review Sites. Monday, February 16, 2009. 16th Of Feb.Never a good news day. That no good news comes our way on Feb 16 th. Two years ago today I rushed my little man to hospital lifeless. As it turned out we were told he was type 1 diabetic, he would be insulin dependent for life. Although. It has changed our life dramatically. It has not hindered it and we do what is needed to get by, but today's date and the emotion I felt on that day 2 years again never leaves my mind, it still brings me to tears thinking about it.

Zo sneu. -) maar iemand moet het doen. Op de agenda voor het nieuwe jaar.
