Thursday, October 25, 2012. In honor of the first snowfall of the season, it's time to start my Texas bucket list for December. Chuy's - Matt and I agreed to a minimum of three times. Town Lake Hike and Bike Trail. El Mercado fish tacos. Sounds like we'll be eating a lot and kissing our checking account good-bye. What do you think? Am I missing something important? Wednesday, January 14, 2015. Like exodus in my own soul. And here is our video of israel over new year's! We visited so many places, it was hard to pick which clips to use! I realize this video is probably the same quality as a music video you did when you were twelve-years-old, but before we left we decided we wanted to take more video so we could kind of relive the experience. i am so glad we did. how many times do you get to go to israel in your life? The most common question i've had was, "why israel?

Monday, November 10, 2014. The great salt lake. Leaving salt lake was somehow harder and at the same time easier than i thought it would be. There were many days in salt lake when i would mourn the loss of feeling "at home." i struggled a lot with making friends, and adjusting to the culture, especially in the beginning. i felt like i would never feel as comfortable as i had in l.a., or austin. but at some point, i learned that i can never go home. My sad empty desk at work! Sorry, i have tons of these.

Saturday, February 21, 2015. Tel aviv, jaffa, and caesarea. We flew into tel aviv at night and passed out once we got to our hotel. in the morning we were greeted by this view outside our balcony. We mostly played at the beach our first day since our hotel was right on the water. i cannot get over how beautiful the mediterranean sea was - so clear and blue!
