Jared's Costa Rica Blog. Tuesday, October 7, 2008. Yesterday at our first assemble we had 210 kids and the 2nd we had 190 the did great. When we got back to the hotel we ordered pizza. Today we are taking a bus to Quepos to do some assembles. Looks like you are working with a lot of children in each group. Does their pizza taste like what we eat in Ok. and TX. Saturday, October 11, 2008. Made it home about 8:00 tonight. Will write more tomorrow, tonight I need to sort laundry and get to bed so we are ready for Sunday services. Keep the remainder of our team in your prayers. Us and 1 other flew into Houston. Everyone else (8 others) were scheduled to fly into Miami however they are stuck in San Jose and have been there since 5 am. They will not get out until tomorrow. Sunday, October 5, 2008. As you can see by all of Matt’s posts, we spent all of our day traveling. Our actual flying time was only about 6 hours but it took us 13 hours to get here! Jared is definitely liking the look of first class. He keeps asking if we ever get to sit there.not on this trip :) Anna and Jared did great traveling today. They are so excited to be here. Be proud, I did try a new food on the plane from Panama City to San Jose and actually liked it! It even had a sauce on it! What can I say?

Sunday, October 5, 2008. Here are some specific things that you can pray about for this trip:. Children in Costa Rica – Pray for the situation with child prostitution / sexual abuse in the country. As you leave the airport they have warning signs that sexual abuse to children under 18 is prevalent and to be careful. Pray that this would end and that the missionaries would be able to minister to these children that have been hurt and lead them to Christ. Thanks for your prayers! What can I say?
