I decided to start this blog for Vegan MoFo 2010. To document the trials and tribulations of a struggling South African Vegan. Sunday, November 28, 2010. Almost christmas time and of course what would christmas be without potatoes. So i have already given you my potato salad recipe but here are some more yummy ways to eat the good tuber. 8 large potatoes peeled and boiled for about 8min. 1/2 tsp garlic flakes. 1/2 tsp dried rosemary. Salt and pepper to season. 3 T garam masala. Juice and zest of one lemon.

I made this yesterday for lunch for the simple reason that I had butternut and rocket in my fridge. I will definitely be making it again. Next time I want to add beet to the butternut for roasting. Butternut and Rocket Salad. 1/2 a butternut peeled, deseeded and shaved with a cheese slicer or potato peeler. 2 Tbs olive oil.

The view from just another man on the street. My set up at the moment is as follows. Contacts and calendar entries are handled primarily using Google, Gmail and Calendar. This has allowed some flexibility for me, meaning that I can remain phone brand agnostic, with the only prerequisite being a smartphone. I have explored other means of storing my data, but I find Google's cloud support to be the most reliable for my needs. This has been for me the sketchiest part of the N8. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The view from just another man on the street. Build Quality and Design Choices. Another thing I like about the N8 is the ergonomic positioning of the 'home/menu' button. As I'm interacting with the the screen, the home button is located such that without having to flex my thumb too much, I can move from the screen to the home button and back in an almost continuous arc. And SPB Mobile Shell. And it was no faster than using the standard menu anyway. It is free unlike Instant Menu though. An Update on Input.
