Knitting Mummy's Everyday Life. Saturday, January 28, 2012. On the off chance that anyone does read this I just thought I would announce that I am going to start writing on my blog again very soon. It has been too long and I want to keep a better record of my knitting purchases and FO's so I will be back. Glad to see you back! I have not posted on my blog since September as well and hope to start again for the same reasons. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. BLOGS I LOVE TO READ.

http://knittingmummy.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Knitting Mummy's Everyday Life. Monday, February 02, 2009. I have two finished cardigans to show off, one for Darcey and one for Gracie, Darcey's is the one I kept saying I was going to finish, but didn't seem to actually want to. It is from a sirdar booklet called Ohh La La and is knit in sirdars snuggly baby in Daisy and Navy, Gracies is also a sirdar pattern from a booklet called Sugar Kisses and this was knit with Babylonglegs Dk. Kids were all off today due to the snow, which was fun I can tell you!

Knitting Mummy's Everyday Life. Wednesday, June 03, 2009. Well this week has been so busy and I still have lots to do over the next two days so I just thought I would make a quick post. I have finished a bib for Carly's new baby and she now has that and the Yoda cardigan I made. Also my hubby who is not saved has been coming to church on a regular basis which is wonderful. Things have been busy as usual, I had a break from church for a while, had a few things to get my head around, but am back and loving it which is good. I had also added a couple of pictures of my grandsons Harrison and Kadon, as Carly came round on Friday so took the opportunity to get a couple of shots. Sunday, January 04, 2009. View my co...

http://knittingmummy.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Knitting Mummy's Everyday Life. Wednesday, February 22, 2012. I also had my oldest Carly and her three kids stay for half term last week too so to be honest today is the first day I am actually getting myself sorted. As a side note I would like to add I have now not knit anything for a week. So I hope that soon there will be the start of my 'real' post and it will contain pictures and hopefully a bit of interesting information too. Till then I will say watch this space. Just a quick one, I actually have a finished item, it is the Yoda baby sweater to be found on Ravelry, I wouldn't normally have chosen this pattern but it was for a KAL in the Babylonglegs group on Ravelry. I'd Rather be Knitting: December 2007
http://jo028.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
I'd Rather be Knitting. A Journal of My Knitterly Life. Wednesday, 5 December 2007. Well, not quite chocolate but the same colour as the wrapper! I got this far before realising the pattern is wrong:. The stated number of stitches don't equate to the finished measurement they put on the pattern. It was coming out far too big, so I ripped the body back to the ribs and re-knitted the smaller size. (I couldn't face re-doing the ribs too). My new knit is Twist. Wednesday, December 05, 2007. I'd Rather be Knitting: Diary of a Rogue Hoodie
http://jo028.blogspot.com/2007/10/rogue-hoodie.html
I'd Rather be Knitting. A Journal of My Knitterly Life. Saturday, 20 October 2007. Diary of a Rogue Hoodie. I've been dying to own one of these since I first saw the pattern. Definitely out of my league knitwise, but I still want one and I'm not going to let a load of wool beat me! I got the yarn ages ago from Wolle Hartmuth, it's Austermann Revue a pure merino aran weight and machine washable too. It's a turquoisey/teal kind of shade. What she fails to tell you is how the hell you do this. Why write...

dreamcatcher - knitting . photography . life: October 2005
http://knittyinpink.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 22, 2005. So far I've done about a foot of the Dr Who scarf. I cast on something like 38 stitches which worked out at 7 inches wide. The actual pattern calls for it to be 12 inches wide (and worn folded over to make it look like 6 inches). This seemed like it would be too big and heavy, especially for the recipient - the original scarf was designed for a 6 foot great hulking bloke! Some pictures when I have a little more done. So far I've used purple, beige and bronze. I was very naught...
