Friday, October 31, 2014. Pictured above is Skelita Calaveras of Monster High. I had no idea before taking this picture that she was a full skeleton underneath her clothes! Orignally I had tried to pose her in a similar position with clothes and had trouble because of a plastic piece that ended up being a body shell to hide her skeleton. Needless to say upon this discovery she had to be photographed nakey. The only thing left to do today is watch The Rocky Horror Picture Show and carve a pumpkin!

Wednesday, December 25, 2013. Just finished watching Scrooged, ate some good ham and now I am watching the Lady Gaga Holiday Muppet special! I hope your holidays are swell! Tuesday, December 10, 2013. While in Japan I learned the awesome art of kimekomi! In short, to make the dolls you cut the fabric and lay it over the wooden figure, shaping the fabric into the grooves with glue and special tools. You can buy kits in Japan that are really fun! Here are the photos of all the kimekomi I have made so far!

Thursday, April 26, 2012. Flower Leaf Butterfly Pattern. Been listening to Oh Land! Monday, April 9, 2012. I love you iPad. I really do! Ok, so this post was ENTIRELY made on my iPad! I am like the happiest person right now! I downloaded a great vector app called Inkpad and OMG! I have no need for a computer whatsoever right now! I mean dont get me wrong. I absolutely love my huge iMac but I love the possiblities the iPad has just opened up for me. I can do my artwork WHEREVER I want! Ugh this is great!

I couldn't even look at it without seeing this goggled face and curled hair. I waited until today to open it because I wanted to document the occasion. A bit over 3 months ago we visited the Volks Showroom in Nagoya and I ordered a Full Choice System Mini Super Dollfie and now she is here! Along with my doll were some surprise goodies!
