Karen's Home on the Blog. Fiber, Gardens, Love, Life - not necessarily in any order. Wednesday, July 13, 2011. Apparently the search for a Viking Age harbour in Slite didn't pan out. I`ll try to remember to take pictures of the walk in, it`s actually quite a pleasant combination of field and forest. Today was a good day - we found a tiny spiral of silver wire. A piece of decorated pottery. Week 2 starte...

Karen's Home on the Blog. Fiber, Gardens, Love, Life - not necessarily in any order. Wednesday, July 28, 2010. Ancient tech, ancient enemy. This little fellow is eating all of my asiastic lilies. It's called an Asiastic Lily beetle - what an original name. I hope the lilies come back next year when I'll be prepared to kill the beetle, now that I know how. Let's hear it for ancient technology! Seen here blocking with me, and by Annmarie. And how did I do that? Its all in the wrist, right? Its pretty with yarn like Black Bunny Fiber. It's the hormones talking: April 2008
http://itsthehormones.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
It's the hormones talking. I make stuff. Sometimes it even turns out the way I want it to. Tuesday, 15 April 2008. Monday, 14 April 2008. I want to talk about food today. I've been dutifully feeding her mashed up steamed vegetables, stewed and raw fruits and the usual suspects of cereals (boy does she not like those! She also gets the occasional arrowroot cookie and she had yogurt for the first time today. My question is, when do I get to feed her real food? Is there an order I should introduce meats?
