큰 신문사 기사를 디스 해본다. 나름 저명있는 언론사의 기자가 쓴 글을 평가하는 것이 쉽지 않은 일이지만 못마땅 한 것이 한두가지가 아니라서 큰 맘 먹고 혹평을 해본다. 제목부터 자영업자와 소상공인들의 원성을 사고 있는 배달앱(일부이지만)에 관한 것이라 관심깊게 읽어 내려갔는데 허점투성이의 글을 올려 놓은 것을 보고 많은 생각이 들었다. 기자는 마감이 생명이라는 말이 있듯이 이 기자도 아마 마감에 쫓긴듯 기사를 써 내려갔고 이를 걸러줄 데스크도 이 기자를 믿고 송고했을 것이다.(나도 그랬었을까? 편집자나 교정, 교열자도 설마 하는 맘에 그냥 OK 했을지도 모르겠다. 이런 메카니즘이 십 수 년전에 없어졌다면 이 기자도 알 수없겠지만. 어쨋든 요상한 점이 많은 기사였다. 이 기사를 쓰고자 했던 의도를 모르겠다. 의도는 보이지 않더라도 무슨 말을 해야하는 지는 알 수 있어야 한다. 그런데 이 기사에는 여러가지 사항만 나열되어 있을 뿐 정확한 포커스가 없다. 좁게 보면, 제목처럼 치킨을 쏘는 이유가 뭘까?

여름 피서를 울창한 숲속에서 '장흥자생수목원'. 시원한 계곡을 찾게 되는 계절이다. 무더위를 잊기 위해서 나무 그늘 아래로 가는 것도 좋다. 이럴때 추천할 만한 곳이 경기도 양주의 장흥자생수목원이다. 시원한 나무 그늘아래에서 산들바람 맞으며 자연을 접하는 것도 좋은 피서 방법이다. 장흥수목원에 가면 이런 자유를 만끽할 수 있다. 울창한 원시림을 방불케 하는 수목원내에는 갖가지 편의 시설이 있다. 그런데 이길을 주인장께서 손수 공. 사하고 나무깍고 만든 것이란다. 곳곳에 돌탑과 의자, 오솔길을 꾸며 놓아 데이트, 명상, 휴식에 그만이다. 찻길에서도 멀찌감치 떨어져 있어 새들 지저귀는 소리도 아주 가까이 들리고. 나비뿐만 아니라 청설모, 다람쥐가 동무 하자고 한다. 오솔길 주위에는 아름다운 야생화가 줄지어 있다. 수목원을 찾는 사람들의 안전을 위해 경사가 가파른 곳에는 나무 통로를 만들어 주위를 마음껏 돌아 볼 수 있게 꾸며 놓았다. 한쪽에 있는 과수원에는 토종 과일들이 열매를 맺고 있다.
