Growing with the seasons in Vermont. Lions and Tigers and Weeds, Oh My! I have to admit that prepping beds is not my favorite activity. So far our technique has been: mark off the bed boundary with string, use a ground fork. Check out that link! So Monday we got a lot of newspaper and began our experiment. And now we add to the above list between spreading amendments and adding compost laying down a layer of newspaper. Easier said than done! Thanks and stay tuned! Notes from the farmers.
