How We Started-Through the IVF Process. Noah by the Month. In the eyes of my child…. December 16, 2012. I can’t believe it has been so long since my last post. Time can really fly sometimes. Life has been good…super busy, but good! Noah is such a big boy now. He grows and changes and learns every day. He has 5 teeth! He scoots ALL. OVER. THE. PLACE! He pretends to be shy around people when he first meets them. He does this little sideways smile and buries his face in my shoulder…love! He is a great eater!

So, in July, I made reservations at The Grove Park Inn Resort and Spa. In Asheville, NC for the weekend just before my birthday. We were married there in 2007, and it’s just about my favorite place in the world! Surely by then, I’ll be ready to leave Noah and spend some couple time with Travis. I just don’t know.

One Couple's Journey Through the Rough Waters of Infertility. Thursday, June 21, 2012. Retrieval and Fert Report Update. We got 10 eggs. Quite a bit fewer than was expected, but not bad by any means. 8 of the 10 fertilized, so that is a pretty good fertilization rate. Now we wait to see if we do a 3 day transfer, 5 day transfer, or if we get enough embryos to do the biopsy and freeze them all. It's going to be a long few days. June 21, 2012 at 7:17 PM. July 16, 2012. Today, by 12noon Dr. Prashant performed the embryo transfer procedure. It was easy and quick. No pain at all, the only discomfort for me was having my bladder full. But thats NOTHING! No injection, no anesthetic, nothing major. They got me to lay on the surgery bed, then Dr. Prashant explain to me and G about our embryos.
