Rejoice and Repeat: August 2015
http://rejoiceandrepeat.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 26, 2015. The Power of a Shower. I'm still adjusting to being a mom of two. Schedules differ, needs are vastly different and the demand varies. With N at 8 weeks old, he still requires so much.G has her own needs and wants that inevitably should take priority just at the time I'm feeding the baby. My house is never together or completely clean and my list of to-dos is not getting smaller. I'm learning to give myself some grace. Linking up with Waiting on.Wednesday. How do you know when ...

Rejoice and Repeat: Baby N's Birth Story
http://rejoiceandrepeat.blogspot.com/2015/07/baby-ns-birth-story.html
Monday, July 13, 2015. Baby N's Birth Story. Birth stories, to me, are testimonies of miraculous life events. They are examples of love, empowerment, and a humbling dose of real life. I loved reading birth stories as sources of encouragement leading up to my own delivery and I've been looking forward to sharing my own. I shared a brief recap of our daughter's birth story. When I first began to blog in June of 2013 and now the time has arrived to share another. Are you kidding me? As my contractions quick...

Sunday, August 9, 2015. Baby N's Trip to the Emergency Department. A mother's intuition is often a force too be reckoned and rarely disagreed with. I almost never forgo my gut instinct but of course, the one day I do, serious happens. Never again. I immediately packed up my work, got G and headed down the hallway towards the exit. I felt prompted to stop in my friend's classroom. I asked her to pray with me over the situation. As she prayed I felt a peace come over me. The Lord was making...I called G's ...

Monday, January 12, 2015. Bump to Birth: The Back Story. I knew I wanted to blog about our journey with infertility. And I wanted to serve as a source of hope for those who continue to struggle with its life altering effects. I wish I had been blogging in the years leading up to the conception and birth of our daughter. And my thoughts on various infertility hurdles here. When we began TTC our next child, we chose a life verse. We were told we had one more round and, if not successful, we'd have to try a...

Rejoice and Repeat: April 2015
http://rejoiceandrepeat.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 26, 2015. It’s never easy to accept or admit moments of weakness. I think we as Christian women often hold ourselves to higher than necessary expectations. We all feel we must “do it all”. I am a planner and when my plans fail, I feel that failure as a mighty sting. One of my biggest frustrations as of late is the whole house issue. We bought land. Plans Good in theory it seems. I’ve had a hard time trying to get excited about redoing our daughter’s room into a gender friendly t...As well a...

Rejoice and Repeat: March 2015
http://rejoiceandrepeat.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 29, 2015. I don't know when I became such a worrier. I remember, how at one time, I did not spend my life worrying about what may never happen, how things would come together, and the word "if" meant very little to me. At that point in my life God was bigger than anything I'd face. When did I make Him so small? Will they extend my days? Will they add quality to my moments? No These feelings only serve to steal my happiness and suppress my joy. Overwhelmed my heart. I know as she gets ol...

Rejoice and Repeat: Making a Menu
http://rejoiceandrepeat.blogspot.com/2013/10/making-menu.html
Sunday, October 27, 2013. Every month I pull together my cooking resources to create a menu. It saves me time, money, and energy. Several of my friends have asked how I do it. I believe 100% that if you have something that works, share it! I have a lot of type A in me and this menu task is just one way I put it to good use. Here is my basic system. 1 Compile the resources from where you wish to choose your meals. I have a variety of sources ranging from cookbooks, blogs, Pinterest. Cookbook, and Pinterest.
