It doesnt really matter how you cut it, sugar is still sugar.  If sugar doesnt make you healthier, changing its name will never change that fact.  Here is a nice long list of names that sugar goes by.  Bottom line, educate yourself, know why you do or do not eat something, and read labels so nothing sneaks by.
