Even if they don't roll, they can still make a good "vroom, vroom" sound. Of course, you can always pretend to eat it and feed it to mama. Having a kid is a great excuse to stop acting like an adult. Sunday, September 26, 2010. Are we there yet? I've always loved the anticipation of upcoming events, like Christmas. Sometimes I think the anticipation and planning is more fun than the actual event. But anticipating something without an exact date to rely on, isn't as much fun. Also, the physica discomfort takes away from it all. Maybe I should start Christmas shopping to distract me from the baby's impending birth. :). Are we there yet?

Having a kid is a great excuse to stop acting like an adult. Saturday, September 14, 2013. Scavenger hunts are one of my favorite activities, especially with Rachel. I particularly enjoyed this list. The bunny never reappeared, but my little trooper didn't mind. She was perfectly happy to explore the garden instead and see what was growing. Did I mention that my independent, big girl was getting sleepy and wanted to be carried home? Rachel looking for birds during our scavenger hunt this evening.

50 Things I want to do Before I Die. Saturday, August 4, 2012. 50 Take a Cruise - Done! When I got an invitation to go on a bachelorette cruise, I jumped at the chance. Not only did it satisfy #50 on my list, but I got to know a friend better, make some new ones, and step outside my comfort zone. After a panicked renewal of my passport, we were off to Canada on a bus. View of the docks from the ship. The cruise ship was ridiculously ornate, in a fun way. Bench by elevator on each level.
