Chris s. a. gould. Truc / mural / nightime / blue. In front of a mural on valencia in the twenties). I thought this image was kinda neat, so I printed it. But it was super flat on account of the negative being shitty. So I selenium-toned the film to deepen what information was there, then printed it again with slightly better results. Chris s. a. gould. The lost coast, 2006. Me and John Harkins (of Galusha Hill Farm in Topsham, VT) drove up to the Lost Coast some years ago. It was a magical place, for sure. These are from 3200 film in the full sun. And I think the film got fogged maybe cause'a the heat. But for whatever reason, the grain is pretty rad in these prints. 11x14 prints on Ilford Multigrade. Brenden informs me that dude Larry Ellison was the one who cleaned up Warm Water Cove, aka Toxic Beach when they had their little boat party -the Oracle race thing.
