Jamie and Drew gave me an awesome gift for Christmas- three private photography lessons with the instructor who taught my first photography class! Adorable little duck family! I guess you could say a few things have happened in our lives over the last week. Last Saturday night, Chris returned from a week in Cork, Ireland on business. It was really nice to have him home! Then she said we would put our house on the market the next day. Our beautiful first house :). The improvements and hard work paid off!

The bluebonnet is to Texas what the shamrock is to Ireland, the cherry blossom to Japan, the lily to France, the rose to England and the tulip to Holland." - Jack Maguire. I call the following series, "Audrey and the hand sanitizer.". Jumping ahead in my photo lineup to Easter Sunday! We woke up early (well, some of us) and the kids looked through their Easter baskets from Mommy and Daddy. This is one of about a thousand attempts to get a picture of both together, smiling at the camera. After the egg hun...

Drew and Jamie planned to visit Jamie's family in San Angelo over Christmas, so we got together the Saturday before to celebrate. The kids couldn't WAIT to open their presents! Noah opens a super-cool LEGO set from Mamie and Papa. Audrey peruses a cat book from Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Courtney. Michael had a "manly" Christmas, receiving gifts such as hedge clippers. Plus, she was quite taken with the tiny Anna doll Jamie added to the outside of the package. Some serious decorating going on here. Well, we're...

Audrey and I had a little tea party while Noah was at school a few days ago, and I grabbed my camera for some pictures of our fun. Finally, an Update! Wow, three weeks sure do fly! The first week of school, Noah told me he had to sit out for a few minutes during recess because he was pretend shooting. I'm sure he was warned, but he told me, "They said not to play guns. We weren't playing guns, though, we were pretending. These two haven't been to a game yet, but they support the Frogs on game day! The ot...

With the advent of the school year, I am feeling nostalgic about our breakneck-speed summer and wanted to look back, especially for anyone not following on IG or FB! That's you, GGB! June opened with a star-studded performance with THE Rolling Stones! Audrey and Noah both recognize "You Can't Always Get What You Want" within the first couple of bars as "The Rolling Stones"! Noah's artwork of his school was chosen for display at the Performing Arts Center. He is so talented! Musical at Fair Park! As alway...

Sunday in Ireland: My Last Day. Sunday morning we had a devotional in our hotel room because the nearest church of Christ required a complicated system of bus routes to locate. Once we finished our worship, we met up with Scott and took a bus to the Kilmainham Gaol, opened in 1796 as the County Gaol for Dublin. A number of the leading figures in the struggle for Irish independence were imprisoned here, and some were executed at Kilmainham Gaol. Chris and Scott peer into a cell. Irish Museum of Modern Art.

Noah's first soccer game of the season kicked off Saturday! He is fiercely competitive and focused, despite his usual laid-back nature. Chris and I can't help but be proud to see those tendencies come out in our progeny! Proud member of the Flying Geckos! Audrey watches in style. Hugs from sister at break time. Lake Cypress Springs: Twin (S)oaks Park. Cooking our potato packets and grilled salmon on Thursday night. Caleb shows off a mud-spattered face from riding bikes around the campground. On Friday, L...

Every year, my beloved Horned Frogs play at home on the same day as our church's Trunk or Treat. Chris and I have still never attended the annual event! However, this year my parents were keeping the kids while we. Watched in amazement as TCU scored 82 points against Texas Tech. And they agreed to dress them up and take them to the building for hot dogs, games, a hay ride, and candy! Iron Man and Bumblebee. Saying "Hello" to Ms. Vicki! Audrey was incredibly shy and reserved the entire evening. Stephanie ...
