Shopping Hungry: January 2012
http://shoppinghungry.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
And other tales of desperation. Monday, January 30, 2012. A Letter to My Goddaughter, Age 4 Months. My best friend Alicia. Recently had a beautiful baby girl, who, despite my pleading. Was not named "Ouagadougou" or "Racecar," but rather "Eleanor." I guess there's always next time. I'd like to start teaching Baby E some important life lessons now, while she's too young to question anything I say. I feel that these lessons will help her develop into the stoic. Person I myself have become. Never, ever go t...

Erin's Edible Adventures: December 2012
http://erinsedibleadventures.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 10, 2012. This recipe came out of a deep desire to eat curry on our first sub-zero day of the winter.Brrrr! And the need to use up some of our 150lbs of potatoes! I originally went looking for an Aloo Mattar (potato and pea curry) recipe. I found one that looked delicious, but I didn't have all the ingredients. Then I remembered the Penzey's Vindaloo Seasoning in my cupboard. Oh, but it's traditionally made with lamb. I don't eat much meat anymore and I'd had my fill this weekend. This p...

GrowinKitchen: Save (and Share) It For A Rainy Day: Ginger Clove Cinnamon Milk with Honey
http://growinkitchen.blogspot.com/2011/03/save-and-share-it-for-rainy-day-ginger.html
Save (and Share) It For A Rainy Day: Ginger Clove Cinnamon Milk with Honey. The part of Bandung in which I currently reside is rather cold-temperature for a tropical land. In rainy season, usually the end of the year, it is very wet here with a quite high rainfall rate. Even more than Bogor, my hometown, which was popular as Kota Hujan. 8212;literally translated as rain city ( kota. Means city and hujan. Now Bandung become the new Kota Hujan. While Bogor is more appropriate to be called Kota Angkot.

GrowinKitchen: GrowinKitchen At Bandung Berkebun
http://growinkitchen.blogspot.com/2011/05/growinkitchen-at-bandung-berkebun.html
GrowinKitchen At Bandung Berkebun. I've always wanted to have a big, beautiful garden, almost similar to the one in Jamie At Home. The idea that I would be able to pick fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables then directly cook them in the kitchen was somehow alluring. But, because I currently share house with a lot of people (plus the owner's family with two toddlers), the dream will have to wait. Front area: junior's plot. One of the junior gardeners. Somehow this little garden remind me of my mum's. S...

Shopping Hungry: October 2011
http://shoppinghungry.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
And other tales of desperation. Sunday, October 30, 2011. Evolution of a GChat Friendship. 2007 Young and Fun. Large and In-Charge. HOW was last night a good idea? I only have myself to blame. Yep, I have been drinking Powerade like it's going out of style. But it was fun! What was that movie with. Colin Farrell in the phone booth? That's how I feel. But yes, it was so fun. You mean "Phone Booth"? Also, did I tell you that some guy dragged me onto the dance floor at one point last night? No, probably not.

T's World: February 2009
http://kooglerpierce.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Homemade Yogurt and Croutons. Last week I made some Homemade Yogurt. Using a simple and easy recipe. Unfortunately for me, it turned out pretty runny, and although it was tasty, I would rather have a thicker consistency. I've played around a bit after a little research and have come up with a slightly different recipe that turns out quite a bit thicker than the last. In addition, a friend of mine posed the question to me, "Why do you boil the milk? About 5 Tbsp dry milk. 1/3 cup plain yogurt. Is affected...

T's World: I'm back, at least temporarily.
http://kooglerpierce.blogspot.com/2009/06/im-back-at-least-temporarily.html
I'm back, at least temporarily. Howdy folks. I know it's been awhile. More than two months I think! My odd jobs business has picked up significantly and keeping me very busy, which is great, but it leaves little time for this. I have been toying with the idea of deleting this blog, but I think at least as a reference for myself for all the cooking we've done it's worth keeping. Anyways, that's all for now. I hope all my faithful readers are doing well. Grill pizza is da bomb. Yep, DA BOMB!
