She is my shadow and as much as I'd love a break most days I would probably miss her constant chatter. Her inquisitive nature amazes me on a daily basis and she has a thirst for knowledge which I just love to feed. Her giggles are contagious and her hugs and kisses are never-ending. She is my baby. She is turning five and I plan on doing my best to enjoy every minute of it. And Justice for All.

Friday, October 10, 2014. Even though my children are young, from time to time I speak with them about love and what a good relationship should have. The girls especially are bombarded with all kinds of mixed messages in television shows and music about how love should be dramatic and passionate, fraught with constantly tempestuous breakups and make-ups. That may make for exciting TV but Lordy, what an exhausting way to live. Flower and chocolates and grand gestures are nice but they only take you so far.
