Wednesday, July 6, 2011. A lot to catch up with. Beautiful day today. Unfortunately the Zaandam wasn’t docked us, but I got to walk around the town and make some calls. I had to be back on the ship early for work, but I did get a small break to sit down and check out the scenery. Sitka – tender port. It is a really neat place to be and see all of the scenic views. For this day we are out shooting on the decks for a few hours. Unfortunately this cruise there were not many people outside. Friday, May 4, 2012. It's been a crazy year and once I hit Alaska, it was so busy that I couldn't find the time to hop on here and write. My contract ended the middle of February and I headed home. I took off again on a road trip for a month to keep myself busy. First stop was New Orleans for St. Paddys Day. I had so much fun and got to dress up and be one of the crazy folks. Thursday, April 28, 2011. Got up at 5:45 this morning and got ready for gangway. There was so much fog outside when we came into the port. The Captain delayed the opening of the gangway due to the fact that the fog wasn’t moving or clearing. Today we are doing tenders so we were out a bit anchored.
