GIFT DIFFERENT - Dasynka
http://dasynka.com/gift-different
Posted on 30 December 2016. This year I haven’t felt Christmas so much. It seemed to me like a fleeting sunbeam, even have time to warm me. Totally understandable. Indeed that ray has had time to lighten some Christmas energy. I tried in every way to deceive myself with small Christmas habits: baking cookies, watching movies all day, sweet to give me to death, playing and laughing so much. For me Christmas is genuine joy ( here. When I got to know Desigual collection on #GiftDifferent theme, I coulndR...

Lunch at Fig & Olive - Love Of Mode
http://loveofmode.com/2016/12/28/lunch-fig-olive
Lunch at Fig & Olive. December 28, 2016. After a long stroll and window shopping on Melrose Place, R and I worked up quite an appetite. Luckily, Fig and Olive was just around the corner. Buzzing with business meetings, friends catching up, and families celebrating the holidays, it felt so alive. Menus in hand, we were ready to order. Starting with a glass of rosé prosecco for me and a bourbon cocktail for R, we cheered to the last bit of 2016. For the drinks, crostini, and just ambiance. March 10, 2017.

Food & Drink. Trout in Shallot Butter Sauce Ft. Home Chef. January 12, 2017. Lupo and I love to make dinner but sometimes shopping for the right amount of ingredients can be difficult. So finding a meal delivery service that allows us to save time was the exactly what we needed! The total only came out to $30 for 3 meals for 2 people which is equivalent to $5 meals/person. What a steal! You have the choice of ordering meals for 2 or 4. Cool right? The box brings all your ingredients. 8 0z Green Beans.

The Choker Sweater - Looking Glass
http://looking-glass.ca/choker-sweater-asymmetrical-skirt
November 21, 2016. Sweater weather. It’s never something I’ve looked forward to. I’ll always prefer summer clothes, but I’m actually enjoying this season’s knits and their details. Like this choker sweater. From Sammydress. The choker looks cool, and it’s also super cozy. It’s essentially a built-in scarf that never gets in the way. And I love the zippers on the sleeves. These photos were actually taken at Syd’s (the photographer) place, but they inspired me to spend my lazy winter days in a sweate...

Lighten Up: Teddy Coat & Ripped Jeans [+ Video!] - Looking Glass
http://looking-glass.ca/lighten-up-teddy-coat-ripped-jeans-video
Lighten Up: Teddy Coat & Ripped Jeans [ Video! December 05, 2016. This is probably the lightest outfit I’ve ever posted. The only fully black thing I’m wearing are the patent leather boots. But it’s still a very me outfit – mixed textures and a cool print. Sometimes I surprise myself when it comes to fashion. I can’t always explain why I want to wear certain things. I have been wanting a teddy coat. For a while though. They’re more fun than wool coats and less dramatic than big faux furs. It was a combin...

Easy Luxe: Printed Blouse & Black Velvet Leggings - Looking Glass
http://looking-glass.ca/printed-blouse-black-velvet-leggings
Easy Luxe: Printed Blouse & Black Velvet Leggings. November 28, 2016. Confession: this is a total copycat outfit. Last year I saw a girl on the street who I thought looked so cool. She wore black velvet leggings. Ankle boots, leather jacket and chiffon blouse flowing out from underneath it. Even my boyfriend said her outfit looked like something I would wear. I think it’s what really triggered my velvet craze. Her leggings looked so fresh after years of leather leggings. I think that’s the key R...

Arctic Monkeys Tee & Over The Knee Boots. November 14, 2016. Have you ever had a type of clothing that you used to wear all the time but then stopped? Ok, so my first musical loves were the Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys, but when I grew up a bit more I started getting into alternative/garage rock. Mostly because of my sister. I remember dancing around to the Strokes on Saturday Night Live in our living room together, and her blasting the White Stripes from her room every day after school. I mean, I can...

Monthly Merits: December | The Mayden by May Cho

Monthly Merits: February 2017. Clouds and Sweet Treats. Visual Anatomy: The Human Condition. Is a monthly series where I recount and award the month's worthiest moments in merits. Read last month's merits here. To put it simply, December was wonderful. 1: HIGHLIGHT OF THE MONTH: THE SHOW MUST END.EVENTUALLY. And one 70s Pajama. Though I blatantly disregarded 'pajama', ha! Both were nights of laughter and fun. 2: ACHIEVEMENT OF THE MONTH: FRIENDSHIPS. Also mentioned before was my notorious inability to ma...

My ‘And’ – 113 things to say
http://113thingstosay.com/2016/05/my-and
113 things to say. Fashion, Travelling and Everything In Between. My ‘And’. As I’m typing this post I’m heading to Narbonne, a lovely city in the south of France. Can we all take a moment and appreciate buses with free wifi? My morning was rather stressful, I had to take a train to Bordeaux and I arrived at Dax train station to find out it had been cancelled. Great. Watching Niomi’s video made me think further about the concept and the depth of it. Finding your And. I would answer that it’s my love...
