Monday, April 20, 2009. Circle Journal - Play. February was the month that the members of our Circle Journal had agreed to create pages on the theme of PLAY. Interestingly enough, it was during that month that one of us had painful surgery on her knee, one of us was dealing with a seriously ill parent and one of us was dealing with an unemployed husband and some serious financial difficulty. Monday, March 16, 2009. Women at the Well - A Spiritual Spa Day. I had the privilege of participating in a Spiritual Spa Day recently. The theme was "Expanding your View of God." At the beginning of the day the facilitator read the poem about the blind men and the elephant. The poem shows how each man's understanding of what an elephant is was based on his own limited experience of the elephant parts right in front of them that were touched and felt. I would buy one.
