When in Rome - Daily Diary

When in Rome - Daily Diary. Tuesday, July 20, 2010. Our last morning in Istanbul began with a visit to S. Museum to view a special exhibit on the history of Istanbul. This exhibit, titled. 8220;From Byzantion to Istanbul: 8000 Years of A Capital,” contained information on the history of the city and artifacts from Turkey and other museums across the world. Although stretching back 8000 years, most of the exhibit focused on the influences from the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires. Completed his dissertation ...

When in Rome - Daily Diary: Wednesday, June 30th: Piazza Vittorio, Capitoline Hill and More!

http://dailydiarys10.blogspot.com/2010/07/wednesday-june-30th-piazza-vittorio.html

When in Rome - Daily Diary. Friday, July 2, 2010. Wednesday, June 30th: Piazza Vittorio, Capitoline Hill and More! Wednesday began with a trip to Piazza Vittorio, the setting of A Clash of Civilizations. A practice to which the local government of Rome is highly adverse. Again, GO LISA! After leaving the museums, we began our walk across town to the Castel San Angelo, however before arriving at our last destination of the day, we made a very important stop… for gelato. Why are you writing about gelato?

When in Rome - Daily Diary: Second to Last Day.

http://dailydiarys10.blogspot.com/2010/07/second-to-last-day.html

When in Rome - Daily Diary. Monday, July 19, 2010. Second to Last Day. Today, we met at 9:30am instead of 8:30am. This gave us all a much needed extra hour of sleep as we start off another packed day of sightseeing. Some of us stopped for coffee at Le Pain Quotidien, a nice coffee shop with amazing-looking pastries, while others hit the shops. After a short stroll around the mall, it was time to head off to our next stop, Rustempasa Mosque. Century but was later restored in the 18. After a nice break, we...

When in Rome - Daily Diary: 6 July - Synagogues and Jewish Ghetto

When in Rome - Daily Diary. Thursday, July 8, 2010. 6 July - Synagogues and Jewish Ghetto. We next had Resat's class where we we had our discussion on the last half of Trickster's Travelers. One question that really stuck with me that Resat posed is: Do we ever stop using our "tricks" as we assimilate into society? It satisfied my asian food craving for the week. There was supposed to be a movie after, but that was cancelled because it conflicted with Opera plans. A group had gone to see "E'lisir d'A...

When in Rome - Daily Diary. Thursday, July 8, 2010. Mehmet II was the sultan to capture the city of Constantinople in 1453. He achieved this feat at the ripe age of… 21 (most of us in this program are younger than that. It’s amazing to think what other people accomplished by our age! It’s strange to think about. After dinner… it was back to the Rome center to do more work, after a little pause to sit by the fountain in the Campo. It was late enough in the week that the water was less clean than...Wednesd...

When in Rome - Daily Diary. Monday, June 28, 2010. Monday, the 28th: The Vatican. We only had a few hours before our Art History class began, so the volunteer group headed over to a nearby pizza place to grab a few slices of pizza (3 euro each! After spending the remaining time in our apartment, we headed down to the Rome center for class. Today, we would be traveling internationally! Fortunately, we were being guided by the famous Lisa Schultz, who had a plan to get us in faster! During the tour, Mauna ...

I get a lot of my ideas from Pinterest/Instagram and sometimes I just end up using what I have and it turns out great. Here's an idea for some fluffy dairy free pancakes. Silk Almond milk (Vanilla). Before using this I made sure the ingredients didn't contain milk. This butter is so easy to cook with and it taste like the real thing. I followed the recipe on the box just with my ingredients. I started with 2 cups of the Bisquick. Add a cup of milk. Add the 2 eggs. See how the pancakes are a perfect size.

When in Rome - Daily Diary. Thursday, September 21, 2006. Today we savored our last class experiences together, as our program here in Rome now come to an end. We enjoyed a brisk walk to Piazza del Popolo in the morning, where Ashley gave a fantastic presentation on the Chigi Chapel. In the church of Santa Maria del Popolo. The patron who commissioned the villa. The Chigi Chapel is especially unique because it was designed by Raphael. Though ultimately completed by Bernini. In one of the other chapels.

Its all about Freedom. March 21, 2015. The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (Amendment) Bill, 2015, popularly known as the land bill, was adopted by the Lok Sabha after debating it for two days. For a common man the news of land bill is quite confusing. One segment says it is for devopment while the other say farmers are let down. We very well know the story of Tata Nano Land Dispute. What was West Bengal’s loss though was Gujarat’s profit.
