Damon is doing a PhD in cultural anthropology at the University of Minnesota. He plans to research how Tajiks use ideas about time. To frame their knowledge of the 1992-97 Tajik civil war and its aftermath. He hopes his research findings will help peacebuilders better incorporate an appropriate sense of time in their theory and practice. He has an MA in Peace Studies from the Kroc Institute.
