The DeVries Dome: Mia moves in!!!
http://devriesdome.blogspot.com/2011/07/mia-moves-in.html
We are Adam and Kristi DeVries. We are currently building our own monolithic dome home. The structure of the dome is made out of an airform, isonene foam, rebar, and shotcrete. The inside of the dome will be like any other house! Hope you enjoy our story! This picture was taken in April of 2009, shortly after we put some of the windows in. The house in the backround is the house we have been living in while we have been working on the dome. Friday, July 15, 2011. Our lives were changed forever!

The Moon Family: More Lake Fun and a Little Work
http://moonfam4.blogspot.com/2009/10/more-lake-fun-and-little-work.html
Saturday, October 3, 2009. More Lake Fun and a Little Work. This post is from about a month ago. We made as many trips to the lake this summer as we could because I'm afraid there won't be many more years of Lake Wawasee in the future. The yearly expenses of the cottage are grand, and I know they won't be met for much longer. My fondest memories from childhood center around Lake Wawasee and the summers spent there with my family! I deeply want those memories for my girls and family too!

Our life raising two little girls with big personalities. Thursday, March 18, 2010. Happy Birthday to me! This year we celebrated my birthday at my in-laws house with a wonderful dinner and chocolate cake! Richie's cousin Eric and his wife Nettie came for dinner and we found out that her birthday was at the end of Feb. So my mother-in-law put a candle on the cake for her too. Boy did I feel old when she had a 24 on her side and I had a 34 on my side.birthday's aren't as fun past 30, are they?

Our life raising two little girls with big personalities. Monday, June 14, 2010. My Petite Flower Fairy. This weekend Ava had her first ballet recital with Academy of Dance Arts. The theme to the recital was the Pied Piper and she was a Petite Flower Fairy complete with flower wings. She did really well and was so excited when we surprised her with flowers after the show. We hope that she enjoys ballet and continues to take lessons for years to come! Wednesday, June 9, 2010. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
