"They're not smores; they're samosas!": June 2005
http://7thevan.blogspot.com/2005_06_01_archive.html
They're not smores; they're samosas! Saturday, June 18, 2005. 1 I'm not surprised that Michael Jackson was found not guilty of the major charges against him. I am surprised he was acquitted of EVERYTHING. Well that's not quite true.I suppose he is still guilty of being a weirdo. I could be tarred-and-feathered for this if I write this in a city named after a Queen. 3 I picked up a basketball for the first time in years last week. I'm still deadly from beyond the arc. 4 I've lost my golf swing again.

"They're not smores; they're samosas!": July 2005

They're not smores; they're samosas! Saturday, July 23, 2005. Simon, I think it's a good thing that I couldn't make it out to Calgary. It would've been great to see you again.but that beating the Riders took tonight would have left me in a rather foul mood ;). I can't recall the last time I turned a Rider game off that early. That was disgraceful. Of all the games to be ill-prepared, sloppy, and ineffective, why did it have to be against Henry Burris and the Stampeders? Posted by Ev(an) at 11:55 PM.

Sunday, March 26, 2006. Giggling in the wings. Once again, it's been a long time - and I doubt this one'll be worth writing home about. I'm sitting at a lethargic old computer in Jimmy Java and I've got maybe 9 minutes left. Today is an especially quiet Sunday. A Vancouver Sunday, complete with thin rain and a warm bookstore. Peppermint tea makes so much sense on a day like today. Here's a couple good things. My good buddy Matt is back in town. Dana is back from Ethiopia/India. I really like ...My family...

Thursday, November 24, 2005. The fog was waiting when we got there. I'm in Coquitlam, and after 5 days, the fog is finally lifting. Before I go any further, my apologies to anyone who has checked this weblog over the past few weeks. I've been rather occupied, but if you're anything like me, you're sick almost to death of that excuse. Saskabushers, I'll see you in a week or so. Also, I want to better than once every 3 weeks on this thing. In no order, I look forward to: the Bassment, my family, my house a...

They're not smores; they're samosas! Tuesday, May 31, 2005. That title was the best I could come up with on short notice :). Evan, you genious! I was trying to think of potential thesis topics today. I looked through previous topics on the University of Regina grad studies website. Trying to think of something I could leech off of.I mean, make a sequel out of (good save! Why I believe, in theory, that a minority parliament should work more effectively than a majority parliament? Evan: Expect Great Things!

"They're not smores; they're samosas!": April 2005

They're not smores; they're samosas! Saturday, April 30, 2005. Tonight was Jody Lepp's last performance with Stereotrap. Hard to believe that the band of "4 Christian guys from Dalmeny" has been together for SEVEN. That longevity is a feat in itself given the volatility of the music biz these days! I can only imagine how hard it was for him to give up something he truly loves to do, but he knows exactly what he wants to do with his life. I wish him all the best in his pursuits. Thursday, February 23, 2006. Who would have thought an unemployed person could find so much to do? It's nice to post again. I had a tender dream last night that has left me feeling warm all day, and I'm currently debating (even as I rattle away here) whether I should share it so publicly. I only remember a few select details, and I'm sure as I've thought about it at points throughout the day I've added good smells and misty moments, and subtracted the stumbles and embarassed giggles. Maybe that's all I.
