Post #4 - Evaluating Intercultural Behavior. Before even attempting to ponder about fostering intercultural communication, it would be a good start to evaluate what culture is. I would use anthropology to define culture as the total sum of ways of living built up by a group of people and transmitting these ways (or not) from one generation to the next. This includes. The behaviors and beliefs characteristic of a particular social, ethnic, or age group: the youth culture; the drug culture, you name it.
