Thoughtful, simplistic design should not be noticed by the user. It should be articulated subtly, silently adding positivity to how a user experiences a product or service: the ultimately driver of brand loyalty. To be truly successful however, good design needs to have an integrated approach, rooted in strategy. My approach proposes 4 steps to help ensure success:. A childhood spent in Africa, I have had a unique perspective on cultures where commodities are scarce, to those in which abundance leaves only branding to distinguish choice. This has given me a heightened appreciation for brand and design strategy. Interests in both graphic and product design led me onto the BA(HONS) Design, Branding and Marketing course at the University for the Creative Arts, where I graduated with a First in 2009.
