Tuesday, June 29, 2010. But I am enjoying this summer. It's a start. Monday, June 21, 2010. A Surprise for "Coach" Danny. While brainstorming gift ideas as a choir, I mentioned that Danny loves football and was a quarterback in high school. Someone had the great idea of signing a football for him, our "coach." We presented it to him after we spent some time mingling and eating. It was a fun night! Sorry some of the pictures are a bit blurred, there wasn't tons of light and I hate using a flash.).

Sunday, May 29, 2011. Sarah and Rob's Missouri Open House. Sarah and Rob had a beautiful open house the same day we moved to Missouri. Busy day for the McDavitt family all around! It was fun to "come home" to a big party! Sarah looked stunning (as usual) and her dress suited her perfectly. Rob looked handsome in his Navy dress uniform. The house was full of love and kids and laughter, and the two of them shone at the center of all of it - which is exactly how it should be. We love you guys!

Sunday, September 26, 2010. Guess which kind of water balloons the boys vs. the girls preferred? I really love the kids in Primary. I keep telling Danny I'm just going to steal a few and take them home with me. Speaking of cute kids I'd like to steal, among them are Jack and Alaster - the two boys whose pictures are up on my latest photoshoot post. And they'll gladly oblige. Then you just have to keep up with them. I'm glad I chose a career with built-in workouts! Score one for multitasking!

Sunday, June 5, 2011. Danny and I visited Carthage Jail in Illinois this week. Joseph Smith was awaiting trial in this jail when a mob burst in and killed Joseph and his brother Hyrum. I'm glad I had a chance to visit this little place, somber as its history is. But it reminded me of the impermanence of death. And that higher and better things (of many forms) can't be stopped by mobs or ignorance or even hatred. Then or now. That's not how it works. Bullet hole in the original door:. My 2 cents on "Touch".
