Daphne's blog: Photoshop reflection

http://www.daphnehamrick.blogspot.com/2009/01/photoshop-reflection.html

Sunday, January 11, 2009. Photoshop is SUCH an incredible tool! January 17, 2009 at 3:51 PM. I especially like the effects you used on Snuggles the cat. It's also good to get to see this great man we hear so much about. You look great together : ). I'd love to hear how Photoshop will work with your kids. I am definitely not brave enough to try it with my 1st graders. Perhaps it's because I don't feel comfortable myself. January 25, 2009 at 1:24 PM. February 12, 2009 at 4:04 PM. I love the cat!

Daphne's blog: Accomplishing My Goals

http://www.daphnehamrick.blogspot.com/2009/02/progress.html

Sunday, February 15, 2009. I have successfully achieved many of the goals I set for this weekend. I created a PowerPoint 2007 slideshow. Are programs that I can utilize regularly in my classroom. I think Kidspiration. Is very user friendly for primary age children. I know my second graders will enjoy. Using it. I can envision them making graphic organizers to record their thoughts as they are brainstorming. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Goals for Weekend #2. MI and Technology: A Winning Combination!

Tinnell Times: 2nd Weekend Goals

http://tinnelltimes.blogspot.com/2009/02/my-goals-this-weekend-include-becoming.html

Saturday, February 14, 2009. My goals this weekend include becoming more "computer literate" (which most of you know I am not) and to gain knowledge that will benefit my students. I want to find ways to inspire and motivate my students to learn. In some articles I have read recently, it was noted how "mind maps" (I call them "thinking maps") are good tools for students. I would like to learn how to use Kidspiration so that my students can use this software to help with the writing process.

Sunday, February 15, 2009. Plans for Future Project? I would say that I met my goals for this weekend. I feel that I am less afraid of the programs we have worked with. I love that I can do a little more than the "basics" now.(Which is a big step for me). I am especially looking forward to using Kidspiration as a tool to aid in the writing process. I want to try to put my quickly created presentation on my blog, but I don't know how yet. STAY TUNED! Saturday, February 14, 2009. I can see how it could rea...
