The Barnette Family: No One Gets Left Behind: March 2009

The Barnette Family: No One Gets Left Behind. Thursday, March 12, 2009. To Instruct. or is it to Torment? As many of you know, I'm an avid reader, but occasionally it takes me a couple of tries with a book. I have a copy of Jane Austen's Northanger Abbey. Bought at a yard sale years ago for $.10) that I have tried multiple times to get through. I normally love her books, yet this one I've found to be a bit different. *shrug* But I am finally making my way through it and enjoying it. Tuesday, March 3, 2009.

The Barnette Family: No One Gets Left Behind. Sunday, April 19, 2009. We had a wonderful Easter! On Saturday, the day dawned cold and foggy. We traveled down to the Phoenix area to have and Easter dinner with Eedad's family. As we left, the fog was so thick there was maybe a quarter of a mile visibility! Such crazy Easter weekend weather! His sister and her husband were kind enough to host everyone and took on the brunt of the work of making fried chicken (my favorite! I failed at taking pictures though.

The Beatty Beehive: Preference Dance 2011
http://thebeattybeehive.blogspot.com/2011/03/preference-dance-2011.html
Sunday, March 13, 2011. Naomi decided to ask someone to Preference this year since she is now 16 and ready to start dating. She bought a bunch of banannas and strung them on curling ribbons. She hung a bunch of them in his locker and had some hanging out. Inside on a big bananna leaf she wrote: "I'd go banannas if you would go to Preference with me". Then she signed her name on one of the banannas. He answered her back with a big bottle of cheese balls! She looks so pretty! March 14, 2011 at 1:13 PM.

The Beatty Beehive: January 2009
http://thebeattybeehive.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 20, 2009. School is out for the day and Austen called a bunch of friends to head up the canyon and have a little air soft capture the flag game. They started to arrive and the house was a buzz with boys in camo and protective gear. Naomi and I stood snickering outside the door at the way they were all trying to get each others attention and everyone talking at the same time:). Three hours later they show up at the house thirsty, thirsty, thirsty, tired and talking about the "war wounds".

The Barnette Family: No One Gets Left Behind. Sunday, April 19, 2009. One day I came out of the bathroom and found this. Is it bad that I took pictures instead of getting her down immediately? I just thought it was too cute! And yes, Beana owes Banana some candy. :). I love these pictures. The concentration to get into the candy is classic. April 23, 2009 at 12:18 PM. Fun, family, friends. Sunday, December 21, 2008. Kierstin's preschool class put on a cute little Christmas program. She did such a fabulous job. She loves to sing. As you can see, her best friend Stefan was not quite as excited to participate! We spent the last night of our trip at my parents house. They live in a golf course community for age 55 and they are crazy. Kierstin spent a lot of time dressed as a princess. My mom, Darin and I took her to lunch with the princesses.she loved it.
