We had Elizabeth's two month checkup yesterday, so I have to share that she is 12 pounds 10 ounces and is doing well. I can't believe how many vaccines they give these poor kids all at once. We visited my family in West Virginia and while we were there, Elizabeth had her first taste of chocolate. We let her choose from the candy that was in the eggs she found in the yard during the hunt. Okay, so we have spent A LOT more time inside our house this summer than we have spent having "Fun in the Sun", but everyone is a few shades darker than 4 months ago, so I will try to account for that a little. Now we have only 2 weeks left to get ready for school to start. It is so overwhelming to realize how quickly the summer passed. My little family is growing up so quickly! August 23, 2010 at 1:40 PM. A little glimpse of our fun insanity. Thursday, January 13, 2011. How can you possibly say no to your kids when they ask to go play in the snow? Even if it is 9:00 at night! We're feeling the effects today, two days later, of little boys making snow angels, throwing snowballs, and attempting to make a snow fort until almost ten at night, but it was a good thing they got to enjoy it, because it was gone the next morning.
