Doncaster Astronomical Society (DAS) in partnership with the Austerfield Field Study Centre, has in the grounds of the study centre, their own observatory crammed with leading edge optical instruments. A clear sky all night or at least from 10:00pm to 3:00am, when I closed down. The best night I've seen for many months, clear all round and the Milky Way could be seen from the bottom of Perseus across the top of the sky to the bottom of Aquila. I could see it all night, or whenever I looked. A clear night after half an hour of cloud from 10:30pm.
