Dave and Kath's Campervan Travels. We have been zig-zagging our way across France enjoying the different landscapes, towns and villages en-route. We decided to double back the way we had come the day before and find a lower route on to our final destination. The snow is all around us on the mountains but at least the roads are clear………for now. More snow is expected on Sunday by which time we should be in Les Carroz. June 1944 rounding up all the inhabitants killing 642 in total, of which 193 were children.

Dave and Kath's Campervan Travels. My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Sunday 30 June 2013. I didn't sleep much last night. We arrived in the town of Alexandroupolis at about 7pm and parked up in a huge empty car park just off the sea front. Dave went for a swim before we took a stroll along the promenade returning to the van at about 9pm for a bite to eat. There were few people around - it seemed like a quiet little town. We wondered whether the x-ray could have spotted Dave's broken toe! It's all Greek to me!

Dave and Kath's Campervan Travels. Not mad about Mani. Wednesday 31 July 2013. We have spent a few days driving around Mani - the middle peninsula of the Peloponnese and the second most southerly point in mainland Europe (after Tarifa in Spain).
