Dave Clemo's Family Tree

Dave Clemo's Family Tree. Sunday, 3 December 2017. The Vollmers and the Leugs. Since I last posted on this blog . I'm making great progress on writing a book about my family history, and making some interesting discoveries along the way. I was contacted by a member of the Harvey family who kindly sent a newspaper cutting about a wedding between Minna Harvey and Ernst Jacobi at Penzance in 1883. I found a single reference to a possible link between the Leugs and the Vollmers. A few years ago I received a ...

http://daveclemofamilytree.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html

Dave Clemo's Family Tree. Monday, 19 March 2012. We moved into this house in 1953. Both my sister Shirley and my brother Richard were born there. We moved to London in 1962. Since then the house has undergone an upgrade. The windows have been replaced (the old ones were single glazed metal frames and were very draughty, and the building has been clad to improve the insulation. I'm going down to Hayle soon. Should I knock on the door? Wednesday, 7 March 2012. My family is typical of many. In a way the...

Dave Clemo's Family Tree. Monday, 7 February 2011. I've spent much of the last week gazing at my computer and scrolling through lists on names for traces of the Clemo side of the family. After a lot of searching and a little help from the online parish clerk I managed to trace back to 1841. Charles and Elizabeth had already left for Devonport, where Charles enlisted in the Royal Navy. Tuesday, 1 February 2011. The Hayes family graves at St Erth. My great great grandparent's grave. Dave Clemo's Family Tree. Sunday, 23 January 2011. I'm still studying and trying to piece it all together. Oh, and I've written ten thousand words with a view to trying to get a book out. I'm hoping it'll be a mix of history and philosophy and gossip. A bit like me really. Saturday, 15 January 2011. The story so far. Will I publish it? I don't know. I do know that i'm having a great deal of fun researching and discovering facts about the family and the time and place they lived in. Fredericka was the upp...

Monday, 2 December 2013. This album was almost completed on time! We decided to spend the months of July and August recording the album, with the intention of getting it manufactured when we went on our summer break at the end of August. We finally sent the master copy and artwork off in mid-November and copies are now winging their way to radio stations and magazines across the UK. This is my first release in "digipack" format and I think it looks great (and sounds great too! Here's the back cover.
