Astroboy in Asia: Tokyo Disneyland
http://mrcheslock.blogspot.com/2007/04/moving-to-thailand.html
April 01, 2007. Back in January, Hiromi and I took a day trip to Tokyo Disneyland. If you've been to the Magic Kingdom in any other of the Disney theme parks, then you've basically been here. It's not much different, other than the restaurants having a much wider selection of sushi and curry-rice than the other incarnations of Disney. Behold, the ironic commercial glory of Cinderella's castle at night! Let's go see Mickey! We're going to Disneyland! Oh well, it's Disneyland! Shopping at its finest. My be...

Astroboy in Asia: Daegu
http://mrcheslock.blogspot.com/2005/09/daegu_12.html
September 12, 2005. So on Saturday evening, my buddy Alain and myself decided to check out Daegu. Daegu is a major city that's a little over an hour northeast of Ulsan on the bus. Daegu is a city of around 2.5 million people, so it's quite a bit larger than Ulsan. It definetely felt more cosmopolitan (well, by Korean standards anyway). From what I saw, people seemed to dress a little more stylish. As well, people seemed to look somewhat different. A picture of okonomiyaki that I stole from a random site.

http://mrcheslock.blogspot.com/2007/06/kfc-shaking-hands-with-colonel.html
June 03, 2007. KFC: Shaking hands with the Colonel. Just a funny picture of my meeting Colonel Sanders at Kentucky Fried Chicken in Oji, Tokyo. Nice to meet you, too! If you zoom in, you'll see what of the biggest problems with fashion in Asia. older ladies who seem to think that coloring their hair any colour of the rainbow is a bright idea (pun intended). Posted by Blake at Sunday, June 03, 2007. Thats some rare chance I guess. Good for you. Savor the moment. October 25, 2012 12:54 PM. Gaijinpot.co...
