If you’re still alive, you haven’t failed yet. Measuring Atmospheric Electric Fields. Bull;July 27, 2009 • Leave a Comment. The point of all of this is my hopes of detecting atmospheric electric fields during thunderstorms, which apparently can reach up to 10kV/m! There’s a big ass truck jack-knifed in the middle of the highway. Cars are lined up for miles to get to the other side of the truck. The critical electric field is known to be about 3×10. I looked at a graph depicting the electric fields measur...

Record the shot with video and sound. Analyze sound waveform to find firing time and projectile impact time. Here is the setup. Life in the fast lane: September 2011
http://joeyi1234.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Life in the fast lane. Tuesday, September 6, 2011. After much debating, research, and discussion with my adviser.a thesis was finally selected. Nice and early on so that gives me plenty of time to develop ideas and do a nice, quality job on it. So, this post might be a bit disjointed but it'll make sense:. Obviously, there are multiple ways this can play out:. 3) Confirmed, 2: there are tensions and more pedestrians would ride if there was an option. Outcome: Same as above, but in addition advocate f...

Life in the fast lane. Monday, October 31, 2011. So what do a bunch of hungover cyclists do on a nice Saturday? Leopard-Trek doesn't have anything on us! A classic team pic. Matty Hohn- the most stylish guy on the ride. Cafe Royale- you should probably sponsor us now. And there are plenty more where that came from:.

Life in the fast lane. Tuesday, January 17, 2012. If you follow me on FB or Twitter, you've probably seen that I've decided to purse a diet free of dairy products. Why? After much research and talking with others, its really not that needed in the modern diet. You might argue that I'll be missing out on vital calcium and vitamin D, but I can get that from other sources such as Spinach, Kale, etc and supplements if needed. For the most part I decided to give up the cow for a few reasons:. I think it might...
Life in the fast lane: February 2012
http://joeyi1234.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Life in the fast lane. Saturday, February 11, 2012. Originally I was planning on just sticking with the no dairy for this year and dropping meat after graduating in Dec. Figured, I'd have more time to devote to learning about how to do that diet properly then. Well, besides cheating and stealing a bowl of my roommate's chili before last week's party- I've been going without meat for about 2 weeks now. I've found it incredibly easy to give up. Why? What about b12, protein, etc you ask? Never thought eatin...

Just another WordPress.com site. September 3, 2016. Starting to dip towards something more comfortable for a Scot from the West. C At least you won’t have to worry about that this year, May. Up along the Icefields Parkway, on the way to Jasper, the glaciers are visible year-round, but I prefer to see these colossal walls of ice when their mountains are swaddled in snow. So, in reality, it’s probably about six weeks or so until we’ll see snow. In the meantime, I have to content myself with...July 1, 2016.
