Saturday, June 29, 2013. SU'13 NJ Trip - First Few Days. We arrived in New Jersey on June 13 after 22 hours of driving from Wisconsin. It was a long, tiring trip but the kids and I settled right in and starting enjoying our vacation. It was a bit cold our first day but Paeton and Evan insisted on cleaning the pool and playing outside. The next day it warmed up enough for Paeton at least. I think the temp was 66 degrees. My sister Michelle joined us over the weekend. Bike ride with Granpa Marx. Walking do...

The Adventures of the Nonn's: Duty vs. Desire
http://travisandchristi.blogspot.com/2011/08/duty-vs-desire.html
The Adventures of the Nonn's. Monday, August 29, 2011. Duty vs. Desire. If I could move and live in Africa, I would. Really, I would. I am sure that I have an idealistic view of how it would be, but don't we all have that about place(s) that we want to go to or live in? As a side note, World Vision is awesome and had a very thought provoking blog about the famine in the Horn of Africa I wanted to share:. Stanley Family Stories: March 2013
http://stanleyfamilystories.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 31, 2013. Easter weekend traditions this year looked similar to the past few years (plus a little snow and a visit from Aunt Laura.). On Friday morning, Grandma Denyse hosted an Easter egg hunt at her house. Cousin Parker was able to fully participate this year and the snow made it a little easier to find the eggs. Friday afternoon we dyed eggs with Grandpa Ken and Aunt Laura. Truth be told, we picked on Grandpa for wearing a white shirt to dye eggs. Bleach took those stains right out.
