The club members; mostly dinghies ,trailer yachts and one catamaran. Thursday, May 5, 2011. This is the most stable sailing dinghy, suitable for beginners and very young children from age 6 years. It is a flat bottomed pram-bow dinghy with a tiny spritsail. It has 3 flotation chambers so that it cannot sink even when filled completely with water. The Ngaroto Sailing Club.

These are very light weight, high performance one man dinghies, 3.7M long and made of marine ply or fibre glass and very fast on the water. 25 Launching a trailer yacht. To launch a trailer yacht is quite easy and can be done by one man. Just follow the sequence shown here. For recovery, simply reverse the process.
