Tuesday, June 30, 2009. From my WIP The Hanging Tree. In this snippet the MC, Angelica, is experiencing a dream of a past life. This ties into a journal her daughter was given. In it is the writings of a woman who lived in a local Manor built in the late 1600's. I wasn’t particularly tired. I grabbed the journal to read a few more entries. Drifting off to sleep, I heard a voice. 8220;Who are you? 8221; A redheaded woman asked. I assumed she was speaking to me. 8220;My name’s Angelica.”. 8221; she asked.

(And sitting around in short sleeves for a week while temperatures at home plummeted below zero was just the thing we needed. :D). Now were off to Chicago for a conference so things will continue quiet around here for a while, but I hope yall are staying warm and safe. 5 comments Leave a comment. Jan 26th, 2014 09:31 pm (UTC). The simplest and cheapest smart phone they offer, but STILL.). In the meantime, I am copying my contact list by hand, just in case. A couple of friends - my eye doctor, for one - have insisted for years. So I read the first chapter, really intending just to dip in and then set it aside for later. I was hooked. Completely. Read while I fixed a quick sup...I thi...

Thursday, June 25, 2009. I haven't done a teaser this week due to the fact that I have no clue what WIP I want to focus on. There are approximately four to chose from. The weather has been fantastic for writing- all gray and gloomy- yet I cannot get motivated. Probably when the sun comes out I will be flooded with inspiration. Go figure. Writes in the City: November 2010
http://wendypinkstoncebula.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Writes in the City. Thoughts on Writing, Getting Published, and City Life. Saturday, November 20, 2010. Now that I've owned my Kindle for almost a year, I thought it might be interesting to tally up the war between paper vs. ebooks. I've mentioned my love. Of paper books before. And I'll admit I came to the ereader world with much reluctance and consternation (it was a gift.). So, what do you think? If other people are anything like me, is this bad or good news for authors? Writes in the City: August 2010
http://wendypinkstoncebula.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Writes in the City. Thoughts on Writing, Getting Published, and City Life. Saturday, August 28, 2010. We took a trip last week to visit friends in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, who were nice enough to host all four Cebulas for a few days. I, being not at all outdoorsy nor terribly athletic, decided it would be such the great idea to climb the mountain while were there. I even went out an bought new (cute! Said my very outdoorsy and athletic friend. "It's a pretty good climb.". And that's what I did. My daughte...

The Way of the Wombat. Underground, overground, wombatting free. Hop tu Naa is bathnight! Oct 31st, 2016 at 10:44 PM. We had a lot of small people around with their lanterns, singing the traditional songs and being rewarded with sweets. I am not good - I no longer make a lantern from a turnip (like the one in my icon) but use a pumpkin instead as it is easier to hollow out! Also - I used my cookie cutters to decorate it with stars -. We really aren't in England - honestly! Oct 27th, 2016 at 9:29 AM.

And the first piece of unofficial THRONE OF THE CRESCENT MOON art. - saladinahmed. 11:50 pm February 28th, 2012. And the first piece of unofficial THRONE OF THE CRESCENT MOON art. Comes from none other than Scott Lynch (The Lies of Locke Lamora)! Characters from THRONE playing D&D in a session that may or may not bear some resemblance to the Author AD&D session from ConFusion 2012. Also, the wonderful MK Hutchins has come up with a recipe for the cardamom tea served at Yehyehs teahouse! Or Leave a comment.
