I finished my third year of teaching, we went home (me for 5 weeks, Matt for 2 weeks), we went to Africa for two weeks , Matt started working at a different clinic, school started for me, Matt went to Seattle, and that about brings us to the present. Monday, December 28, 2009. Where has the time gone. It has been over 4 months since our last blog entry. there are no excuses, just busy lives. I have been keeping busy with buy trips for work, traveling home for Lynsey's wedding and visiting with family, and now the holidays. Nate has been keeping very busy with his new favorite hobby. spearfishing! We are already at our half way mark of living in Japan. It is really crazy how fast time flies. Thanksgiving in Hiroshima with Matt, Jody, Melissa and Greg.

Well, we have both been super busy with things. and I have been dreading uploading the insane amount of photos that I took while on vacay. I finally uploaded all 507 photos from the Cambodia part of our trip and came across this one. one of my faves. Why wouldn't you let your young son have a pot and cruise around the floating town? Elephant, coffee and rice. On our second to last day in Bali we went on a tour. We'd hired a driver who took us around. First we stopped at Goa Gajah, the Elephant Cave. Apparently it's an elephant head above the entrance to the cave, I didn't think it looked like an elephant but it was still nice :). After the cave we went to a coffee plantage which was great! Then it was time for lunch and we had lunch at a restaurant called Bar Swastika (! And we had amazing views over Lake Batur and Mt Batur. Idag åk...
