It has been quite the holiday season! It was our first Christmas away from home and a bit different then the cold weather and loads of snow. We were sad to be away and happy to hear from family and friends, but luckily we were very busy these last couple weeks and were able to get through the holiday season with no tears. :). Monday, September 29, 2008. Craig's 24 hour bike ride. My friend Bob and I participated in a 24 hour 2 man team relay in Warsaw, IN. 24 hours straight of mountain bike riding and we competed against 10 other teams from around the state. Great time riding and we were even fortunate enough to win first place. 20 total laps - 200 miles. Wednesday, September 24, 2008. Tuesday, September 2, 2008. Saturday, November 1, 2008. Ella and Makenna had a great Halloween. The collected candy in our neighborhood and also in Mary's. We then went to a Halloween party at Mary's. Thursday, August 28, 2008. Ella, Makenna and Craig took a trip to Michigan last weekend to visit Grandma and Grandpa Thompson. They had a great time driving the boat and visiting with their cousins. Ella also started soccer this week. She had a rough first scrimmage, but we are hoping that it will get better once she gets used to her team. Thursday, July 24, 2008. Hi everyone - hope you are having a great summer! We are enjoying the warm weather and spending a lot of time outside. Ella and Makenna are loving the pool and we are growing a garden again this year. We currently have huge tomato, broccoli and cucumber plants! Monday, December 1, 2008. We did our traveling home from MI on Saturday so we were very happy to see snow when we woke up on Sunday morning.
