Monday, December 20, 2010. This is what we have been doing this month, before the real party begins. The concert got out late, so we stayed at a nice hotel and went to the temple the next morning. I love this photo of the girl who married me at this place on July 19, 1974. Just hanging with the homies at Vons. Russ and Nancy invited our whole herd to their house for Thanksgiving. Sunday, March 04, 2012. Romance is alive and well at the Allred home. Sue cooked a wonderful dinner of shrimp scampi and fettucini alfredo. It was topped off with a glass of bubbly - root beer. We had candles and all. Of course, no celebration would be complete without Piko. Please notice the romantical red plates and goblets. We laid on our new thermarests and mummy bags and tried to figure out how the young'uns are able to take a picture of themselves. And a good time was had by all.

Thursday, July 01, 2010. Krista's Eighteenth Birthday Party. These are my favorites from the birthday party. The party planner takes a minute to show everyone how it is done. She is adorable. Three of my six favorite daughters resting from all of the excitement. Thanks to the diligence of Sue, we did celebrate Laura's thirty-something birthday. That doesn't seem possible since Sue and I were only thirty-something a little while ago. Meanwhile in the kitchen. We set something on fire in Laura's honor.

Tuesday, September 21, 2010. I thought it was time to give everyone an update on Piko the Wonderdog. She has had a medical issue recently, her dewclaw was injured. We were afraid that it would have to be removed, but it looks like it is healing on its own. I know, everyone is relieved. So here is a little pictorial on Piko. This is her first puppy shot. Friday, June 24, 2011. This is me and Zachary Buchanan before my heart decided it was all over. The Skinners came to see me in Bakersfield Memorial Hospital. They were mostly glad to help me eat the brownies that Becca Petersen brought me. Sue and I before I was transferred to Cedars-Sinai. I was sporting a Swan-Ganz catheter to monitor my heart. Wednesday, March 16, 2011. Nathan was baptized and confirmed on Saturday. Alexander was blessed on Sunday. Steve gave each of his sons a wonderful blessing. We were so happy to be able to be there. Proof that we were there. Adorable Alexander on his blessing day. The whole crew, with a TA-DA by Brandon. Nathan's party took place at the local bowling alley/laser tag place. These next photos are to give you an idea how the game is played. Great form by both Sue and Brandon. Georgia on my mind.
