Overall, we found that the refractive index of difference substances is the following: Water: 1.377, Maple Syrup: 1.589, Salt Water: 1.389, Sugar Water: 1.36, Rubbing Alcohol: 1.416, Hydrogen peroxide: 1.369, Dish Soap: 1.411.
