Laquo; Stretching myself too thinly. On the needles ». July 15, 2015. Heres my Havra Shawl. Which was Shetland Traders MKAL in June. . The yarns Skein Queens cashmere and is buttery soft. I cant wait for winter so that I can wrap it around my neck! Theres a little bit of yarn overing, but this is mostly a textured shawl, with twisted ribbing. Laquo; Havra Shawl. Baby things and shawls ». July 23, 2015. Which means that I dont have anything finished. Well, I do, that frontless baby cardigan, but I keep forgetting to take photos before work! I plan to knit a few basic baby hats as well, one in blue and one in pink. Just have to find time to do it! August 22, 2016. The end of ravellenics! This was the last weekend of ravellenic knitting, I had Plans:. Finish 100m Lightning Bolt hat. Start and finish 200m Cowl. Finish 400m Sprint shawl. Id given up thinking i could also knit a pair of mitts and another hat. Good job, because I didnt get the cowl finished! You cant see it clearly, but its Lightening Bolts :) . Then the Cowl fiasco. 1) Find yarn - that took a little dithering. 3each live stitch needed two border pattern rows - 2x8sts = 16sts ...

These only took a few hours, but OF COURSE I had a lot of reknitting to do. It was only when I entered the project on ravelry that I ralised Id been working with a dk yarn, and attempting to get a 4ply tension. Ooops. And shawls. . Where Heather waffles on about knitting and anything else which crosses her mind. Thursday, August 09, 2007. Finally I have finished! I am possibly the slowest Knitting Olympian. In the history of the sport but like the tortoise I got there in the end, and I am very pleased with the result. Click on the piccies as usual to make them bigger, and admire the diamonds which increase in size to shape the sleeve, I am so proud of this shaping! And a poncho with this yarn and I still have about half a cone left!
