He delighted in the intensity I brought to the table too, but taught me how to live with more balance. He made me see the world in a different light, and I never knew I wanted to see the world any other way. He was the refreshment I never knew I wanted or needed. And I've enjoyed the journey we've made together, still delightfully figuring each other out, yet intensely.

Tuesday, August 9, 2011. When I decided to redo my dining area, I knew that my current chairs would not look good painted. I started to visit some second hand stores. I knew that I wanted chairs with upholstered seats. I was so amazed when I found these 6 chairs. One even has arms. There is a sticker on the bottom from Smith Manufacturing in Georgia dated in the 40's. They got the same Annie Sloan Old White chalk paint as the china cabinet. I love how they turned out. Here is the completed dining room.
