COCOSKIES | An art blog: The Breakfast Club
http://www.cocoskies.com/2015/05/the-breakfast-club.html
A mountain of food at The Breakfast Club, London Bridge. It was so nice to see London come alive at night, previously I've never experienced that side of it. What I could manage to eat was delicious, but next time I'd probably go with the american berry pancakes. Later that day we visited Portobello Market and Notting Hill, when we returned there was still a massive queue. Londoners must love that place! I hope you are all well, it's been a while hasn't it? 2 May 2015 at 21:57. 3 May 2015 at 04:08. Yeah ...

COCOSKIES | An art blog: Souvenirs
http://www.cocoskies.com/2014/12/souvenirs.html
Souvenirs picked up in Japan and The Philippines. 1 and 2. I had to buy these sweets in Japan purely for the cute packaging! 4 Acrylic storage, brush pens and highlighters all from Muji. 5 I almost forgot to post about this, but just before I went away I won a giveaway by Jane. Thank you so much again! I love how much thought went into this package. I've loved the teas I've tried so far, but I'm trying to save each one as a treat so they last longer! I'll remember that for next time. Im going to keep the...

Photo Diary Sakura Missing. Have you ever missed a place so much that when you think about it, it becomes a physical sickly sort of aching? I know I have spoken to a a couple of fellow bloggers who have experienced this too. Are we the only ones? Trench from Junya Watanabe for Comme des Garcons. Jeans from Acne. Socks from Happy Socks. Trainers from Converse. Backpack from Eastpak. See more of our adventures in Japan HERE. While walking past a disused space by our home, Hiro suggested that I peer through...

Daisybutter: January 2015

A blog of moments by Michelle Chai. On Missing Things (at once then not at all). On missing things but not. The trials and tribulations of a BBC. Of course I do. Miss being able to take a deep breath of fresh, crisp English air. Actually I kind of miss my Essie Cute As A Button nail varnish. I bet you really miss London and how fun * and quirky it is. I bet you're really missing home.". Not really. I feel quite at home here in Hong Kong. It's everything and nothing that I've known, all at once. Sophia an...

diy daisy umbrella | eat your teacup
http://www.eatyourteacup.com/2015/07/diy-daisy-umbrella.html
For some bizarre reason, I really love umbrellas. What is it about them, anyway? Apart from keeping me warm and cosy on wet days, they just have that whimsical factor about them. Maybe I watched Mary Poppins too much as a child. Anyway, I also love that umbrellas are blank canvases that have so much potential for customisation. Sadly I tend to grab the nearest one (usually a freebie) when I'm rushing out the door, but some designs can be so intricate! Now I just have to wait for the perfect day to use it...

http://www.anouk.co/2016/12/kuala-lumpur.html
I have a new favourite city in Asia: Kuala Lumpur. Before this trip, I would have listed Tokyo and Hong Kong as my top two but that has changed now. Right after landing, I could feel that there was something different about KL. I really liked the lit up sink in the bathroom. There was a shower plus a bathtub and the toilet had a bidet function incorporated. The service was also great as the waiters really looked after you. Not something I'm used to in Luxembourg. Once I got back to my hotel, I realised t...

Books & Writing. Lifestyle & Travel. Books & Writing. Lifestyle & Travel. Books What Harry Potter Means To Me. August 7, 2016. September 28, 2016. Disclaimer there are NO Cursed Child spoilers in this post! But yes, it’s no coincidence that a Harry Potter post has been timed with the release of the play script of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. I read it…in fact devour it. I had no idea what was going on but I fell hard for Harry and his wonderful world. Staying up all night to read Half Blood Prince,...

Singapura | ANOUK
http://www.anouk.co/2016/12/singapura.html
My last post about Singapore. Here are some random photos that I took during my stay. I ate a couple of times at Sushi Tei. It's a restaurant chain that serves Japanese food on a train or à la carte. Their menu shows all their dishes on pictures, which is really convenient because there is such a huge selection. A light show at the National Gallery. A walk around Chinatown. Basic breakfast at a basic place with no windows. I needed change to continue my journey and this was my 'solution'. Im yet to visit...

Fashion blogger Sun and I recently teamed up for a fashion photo shoot. If you want to meet her in real life, you can do so at an upcoming fashion event. At BCBGMAXAZRIA in Luxembourg City. I also took outfit photos with Yaya Van Chique. More pics here. On Sunday I tried the all you can eat sushi train at AKA Cité. The selection was better than the train selection I have previously experienced. Dinner at Come Prima. I hadn't been for years. The food was good. The food looks amazing! Mmmmm Ive always want...

First impressions | Singapore | ANOUK
http://www.anouk.co/2016/11/first-impressions-singapore.html
After what seemed a never-ending journey, I finally made it to Singapore. It was getting dark when I stepped out and so I decided to capture my first impressions in black and white (although I selected monochrome on my camera, it still took the photos in colour. had to switch them back to black and white while editing). I hope youre having fun in Singapore! These pictures are stunning. May I ask what camera do you use? I use a Canon 5D Mark IV (it came out two months ago). I hope youll have a great time!
