Notes from Room 311. Archive for April, 2010. The Bill of Rights Institute. April 8, 2010 @ 5:59 pm. 183; { Thoughts on Teaching. Today, they taught about the Federalists vs. the Anti-Federalists, and we went through three different lessons that are easily incorporated into classrooms. I really enjoyed it and will use these in my government classes in the future. I swear I get nothing for this endorsement; I just love them so much! Dena's Writing Desk. Blog at WordPress.com. Notes from Room 311. February 22, 2010 @ 1:49 pm. 183; { Thoughts on Teaching. But…then reality hits. I’m now one or two or more days behind schedule! How am I going to make up all that work in such a short period? Or, what do I cut out? This is especially hard for me with my U.S. history class. I’ve thought about each of those assignments carefully. Put them in for a specific reason. What do I get rid of? Still…I think I wouldn’t mind a snow day today…too bad I had to come into work.

A few government extras | Notes from Room 311

Notes from Room 311. A few government extras. March 15, 2010 @ 11:55 am. 183; { Lesson Ideas. One of my favorite years to teach government, of course, is an election year. What government teacher doesn’t love incorporating the world real into the class room? Unfortunately, not every year is an election year, so those semesters I have to work a little harder to get interest in what many students term as “boring”. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
