Friday, June 26, 2009. The kids have really been letting me sleep in which is so cool! This picture isn't first thing in the morning but we were wrestling around playing and I reached over to grab the camera and took some pictures. I love my cuddles! We have also spent a lot of time in the sprinklers outside. It is way to hot without the sprinklers! Kate doing her gallup. Luke finishing his 360 turn. Thursday, June 18, 2009. Disney World Part II (Super Long Post). One night we went to Downtown Disney which is a place that has tons of eating and shopping. They had this cool new stage that the kids loved. There was a lady up there teaching all the kids dances and Luke and Kate were in Heaven. Kate was just galloping around. Wednesday, November 5, 2008. Halloween a little late. We had a great Halloween this year. Luke was a football player and Kate was a Bumble Bee. I don't think I got one picture of Luke in his helmet because it wasn't working right. I also forgot my camera for Trunk or Treat so I didn't get any pictures of that. Tuesday, July 7, 2009. The first time I ever met Leslie was at church. I remember seeing her walk into class and I thought she had the most beautiful red hair. I also thought, hey, there's another tall couple! The next year, Leslie was Luke's teacher at YCW. And she was so great with him. She put up with him asking Where's Mama? A thousand times a day. This past year is when we really got to know each other though. We were both working at YCW. We need to hang out soon. Love you! July 7, 2009 at 7:47 AM.

Thursday, May 29, 2008. I had a great weekend with my college teammates. We went to Granbury and stayed at Sara's in-laws' house. It was super nice of them to let us take over their house. We all felt like we were at a resort! The whole time we just sat around talking and laying out at the pool. John was super dad and kept the kids all weekend which was awesome of him to do that. Wednesday, July 8, 2009. Last Thursday night, John had the idea to take our family for a little camping trip to the State Park and stay in a Yurt. Wednesday, June 18, 2008. Birthday, Fathers Day and Jumpin around! Last week was my birthday. I had such a great day. Meredith watched my kids while my mom took me to lunch at a tea room. I love me some chicken salad! It was so much fun and I was so surprised. That was the best gift ever. He really did way too much and I told him that this counts for the next 3 birthdays. :). Thursday, July 31, 2008. Luke turned 3 last weekend. I still can't believe it. He is turning into a little boy right in front of our eyes. He brings such joy to our lives and is such a special little guy. There are lots of things that I want to remember about Luke being this age but here are just a few:. His smile melts my heart. I honestly look at my kids every day and get a little misty eyed. What an honor to be their mom. He tries to imitate most things that we say (even if we don't want him too).
